It's a good news / bad news situation now and both sides say Lll is back and this time on the properly sized up 'HELLLINN' EP full of that same energy - unhinged and deliberate, off the wall acidic mutant house. Caustic synth lines mixed with furious electro sludge birthed to ooze out of club speakers. This 4 tracker strikes with the intensity of classic Chicago club tracks with additional synthesizer savagery. Less sub percolator, more club instigator - think Chicago meets UK sound system culture with a distinctly Baltic edge. The song 'State Chumps' from this record was prominently featured on a recent February 2026 Gilles Peterson special 'Winter in Chicago, with Gilles'!Tracklisting:A1.
