It would be misleading to say the J Fisher rarely emerges to share his voice and vision with the world. Yes, the frequency is rare and special, but it is never an emergence... more like dragging audiences down into his caverns of thought, blurring the line between soul, hip hop, and spoken word with glimpses of what he calls 'The Jeremy Fisher Show'. The lead in single "1-11-GAS-v6" is like hearing the dragon's roar after making this descent into the abyss. But there are many forms of data-crunched sounds in J Fisher's lair. His new album 'CIVIC TAPE' is an adventure in exploring this murky world, all taking place in the artist's mind.
